POSITION SUMMARY

The Authority is currently recruiting a part-time Guest Services Specialist to join Georgia World Congress Center. The Guest Services Specialist is primarily responsible for professionally interacting with customers while consistently delivering quality experiences.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver outstanding customer service by warmly welcoming and assisting event attendees with their needs Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a high standard of professionalism and service Provide guests with directions to various facility and surrounding area locations Respond to questions and requests from event attendees and other GWCCA departments in a patient, efficient and courteous manner Address guest inquires complaints, or issues promptly and professionally Monitor visitor materials and displays at the information desks Assist ADA patrons when necessary Perform other related tasks as assigned by management KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and

ABILITIES

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Adapt to various positions and locations around the GWCCA Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule Must commit to working a minimum of 16 hours per month Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in physical activities for extended periods of time Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse individuals Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and strong work ethics Ability to receive instruction for tasks and properly execute tasks with minimal supervision Fundamental technical skills preferred Availability to attend and complete all required in-person and virtual trainings EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE
