Primary Duties:

• Responsible for providing hospitality services to patients, families, guests and caregivers. o The hospitality program includes but not limited to; § Greeting/escorting, providing concierge services and experience navigation § Responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment in the entrance and waiting areas § Service excellence, providing a positive and helpful demeanor while working with patients, visitors and staff § Providing information and way-finding services § Administering the patient/family/guest visitation policy § Providing documentation of complaints to Administration § Participation in departmental customer service/performance improvement programs Responsibilities are directed toward achieving and maintaining a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction with the services provided by the department and any of its caregiver. Position entails a high degree of visibility and role modeling. o Delivers an outstanding first and last impression of every visitor. o Demonstrates knowledge of HIPAA and ensures confidentiality of patient information. o Demonstrates understanding of Patients’ Rights and Responsibilities. o Provides direction and is knowledgeable on all aspects of team functions. o Possesses the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees. o Demonstrates ability to work as a team member and to communicate directly and professionally. o Assists with office duties as needed – i.e. including chart assembly and medical records filing, etc.
