The hybrid agent plays a dual role at Harbor House Collective, combining facility security with exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. This individual serves as both the first point of contact for all visitors and a knowledgeable cannabis guide, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and informative experience for every guest. In the security capacity, the agent is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility, staff, customers, and products in alignment with all company policies and state regulations. Duties include managing visitor check-ins, escorting guests, handling package deliveries, monitoring surveillance systems, and performing regular patrols of the premises. On the retail side, the agent also acts as a front-line dispensary agent, engaging with customers, providing detailed product knowledge, and guiding them through the purchasing process. As a hybrid agent, this role helps cultivate a professional and educational atmosphere while promoting Harbor House Collective’s standards of excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Keeps premises and personnel secure by patrolling property inside and outside, securing access points, and monitoring surveillance footage Observe and report any suspicious or unlawful activity Protect employees, guests, and the property from harm Greets and escorts all visitors, vendors, and other persons through the facility to stop suspicious activity like theft or product diversion Handles all incoming packages and deliveries and drivers Performs lockup and unlock duties when needed including Facility Walkthroughs Enforce company policies and procedures as well as state law Train additional security staff Assist anywhere in the facility as needed Dispensary Agent responsibilities: Greet and establish rapport with customers. Maintain a positive and professional attitude. Keep the product storage area and register clean, organized, and compliant. Use computers, tablets, or other technology to complete sales transactions. Complete continuing education on cannabis and RVT training as required by management and state regulations. Handle cannabis products in compliance with CCC regulations. Adhere to strict distribution processes and maintain a professional, safe environment for customers and coworkers. Maintain the professional appearance of the collective through opening and closing duties, including stocking, counting cash drawers and deposits, organizing products compliantly, restocking merchandise on the sales floor, and participating in basic store cleanup. Must be available to work nights(Closing Shifts) and weekends(open or closing shifts). Must have the physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, turn, and reach overhead as required. Perform other duties as needed to meet company goals.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years security experience is preferred, but not required Effective communication and attention to detail Demonstrate ability to create and implement security and safety procedures Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations Required to undergo a criminal background check and state badging Basic computer literacy Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
