Job Overview :
Princeton Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a Front Desk Concierge to become a part of our growing team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. The candidate should have knowledge and experience in greeting new and returning patients, creating new patient charts, assisting patients with necessary paperwork, insurance billing and verification, worker’s compensation, accepting co-pays and payments, scheduling appointments, filing, and other clerical duties as required. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties :
Greet and welcome patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently for patients, while maintaining accurate patient records Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information Handle guest inquiries and provide information Collect patient co-pays and patient balances Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care coordination Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information Utilize computer systems for appointments, medical records, billing, and patient/coworker communication Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements :
Proven experience in a customer service role; experience in a front desk or administrative role within a medical office setting is preferred Familiarity with medical office management practices and procedures Strong administrative skills and strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism A team player who can collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care experiences A commitment to providing excellent patient service and support Ability to travel to different offices if and when needed Must be able to work the hours needed, including occasional Saturday hours Princeton Orthopaedic Associates, a division of OrthoNJ, LLC, is required by New Jersey law to include the salary range for this role. The range for this role is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate will be working, and alignment with qualifications and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation (bonus, etc) and/or benefits. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan.
