Full Job Description General Purpose:

Responsible for responding to member and guest calls or inquiries about club/community reservations. Provide information and make the sale for applicable Haig Point services and/or products. The Reservationist will continue the arrival experience by ensuring clear communication with guests, obtaining all necessary information and providing the member or guest an experience that meets their expectations. Reservationists will be well versed in promotions, events, pricing, and sales strategy.

Essential Duties :

Must be customer service oriented and able to ensure our members/guests are handled with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Provide our guests with information on accommodations and accommodation packages, special events, dining options, recreational activities, golf, and other island happenings. Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, maintenance requests, and questions. Sell, process and enter and confirm reservations using selling techniques and strategies. Provide guests with appropriate property information, directions to the properties, while up-selling when appropriate. Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction. Post charges to guest accounts as designated. Other duties as assigned. . Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED. Minimum one-year front desk/guest service experience.
