out of 5 stars 6200 Palmetto Dr, Isle of Palms, SC 29451 Summary The Lobby Ambassador plays a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and lasting first impression for all guests entering the Resort. As a visible and proactive presence in the lobby, this colleague is responsible for greeting guests, providing assistance and information, and enhancing the overall guest experience through personalized service and attention to detail. The Lobby Ambassador supports the Front Office and Concierge teams by anticipating guest needs, managing guest flow, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet all guests entering the lobby with genuine warmth, professionalism, and hospitality. Provide directions , answer questions, and offer recommendations on Resort amenities, dining options, local attractions, and services. Assist with guest arrivals and departures , offering luggage support, calling for bell or valet services, and ensuring smooth transitions. Maintain a polished presence in the lobby at all times, engaging with guests proactively to offer support or assistance. Partner with Front Office, Bell, Concierge, and Loss Prevention teams to maintain a safe, inviting, and well-organized lobby environment. Monitor lobby traffic and flow, assisting with queue management and identifying opportunities to minimize guest wait times. Recognize VIPs, repeat guests, and group attendees, offering personalized service and acknowledgment. Respond promptly to guest complaints or concerns, escalating to appropriate management as necessary. Support special initiatives , such as welcome amenities, local restaurant promotions, or seasonal events in the lobby. Assist with light administrative tasks, such as guest satisfaction surveys or activity sign-ups, as needed.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality or guest service roles preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a naturally outgoing and friendly demeanor. Professional appearance and demeanor with a strong sense of personal presentation and poise. Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the lobby continuously. Multilingual abilities are a plus. Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand, walk, and move continuously for up to 8 hours. Must be able to lift or carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
