OVERVIEW
Welcomes and assist members and visiting guests of the Anne Springs Greenway in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner leaving a favorable impression. Under limited supervision, routine work is performed independently. Some evenings and weekends are required. 15-25 hours per week.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Verifies membership status (visiting members); encourage and sell new/renew memberships Collects daily use fees; accepts registrations; performs point-of-sale transactions at special events Operates computer software to process memberships, program registrations and point of sale transactions Communicates information about programs, special events, Greenway use policies and procedures Performs opening and closing responsibilities; utilizes proper cash handling processes Greets guests and provides excellent customer service in a tactful, professional and pleasant manner Disseminates information about the ASC Greenway policies, procedures, programs, scheduled events and activities Maintains work areas and lobby area in a clean and organized manner Communicates any problems, concerns or suggestions to supervisor in a professional and timely manner Opening staff responsible for completing facility walk-through before open for business; reports any facility needs Attends scheduled staff meetings and trainings Recognizes and promptly responds to safety hazards and emergency situations Closing staff responsible for shutting down computer workstations and locking all exterior doors Adheres to all Company policies, procedures and standards set by the Company Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and
ABILITIES
Excellent customer service skills Above average public relations skills, effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with a wide variety of people (staff, members visiting guest) and circumstances using tact, patience, courtesy, and professionalism Ability to maintain self-control and composure when in a difficult situation and/or dealing with an irate customer Knowledgeable of ASC Greenway property, programs and offerings Computer skills, use of IPad with Square Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple talks on tight timelines Reliable, dependable, professional and trustworthy Ability to function effectively under stress-related factors consistent with the position Ability and willingness to be trained on new techniques and jobs
