Full Job Description Description:

Located in The Nations, Urban Dog Bar is a member-based, off-leash dog park, and food & drink establishment. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Check-In Attendants, or as we like to call them, “Canine Concierge”! As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience at our park. If you are energized by interacting with others and enjoy being around dogs, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements:

At least 18 years of age 1 year experience in customer service, retail, and/or hospitality industry Proficient computer and data-entry skills Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Flexible schedule and the ability to work during peak holiday periods, including nights and weekends Passion for animals and our mission to create an exceptional experience for pets and their owners Team and people-oriented with a friendly and positive attitude Ability to follow direction of supervisors and managers, and willingness to learn and ask for help when needed Comfortable engaging with dogs of all breeds and sizes

Position Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: 1. Represent our brand while interacting with guests and providing exceptional customer service Warmly welcome all human and dog guests, and assist with check-in in accordance with UDB policies Answer customer inquiries both in person and over the phone Educate guests on upcoming events, new services and offerings, and membership perks Focus on customer retention and build long-lasting relationships with dogs and owners alike building a sense of community Manage and operate the retail area, ensuring a positive shopping experience 2. Maintain a clean and organized environment Keep the reception area clean and clutter free, and the retail area tidy and well-stocked Regularly disinfect reception and retail areas, including bathrooms 3. Ensure the well-being of dogs entering and exiting the park Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless entry and exit for each dog Maintain accurate records and ensure suitability for park entrance in accordance with UDB policies
