You willconnect them with staff, direct them to on-site resources, and provideother assistance as appropriate. The ideal candidate is motivated tohelp members of the community and is comfortable engaging with peoplewho may be distressed or experiencing symptoms related to mental illnessor substance use.
At the Food Market Registration Desk, you will provide a supportive andwelcoming environment for Food Shelf customers during the registrationprocess, paying special attention to orienting first-time customers withthe intention of putting them at ease.
You will engage everyone visiting the Haven in keeping with Haven valuesand principles; demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team;function as an ambassador for the Haven; and adhere to all Havenpolicies and procedures.
