We’re looking for an experienced cook to join our team on a per diem basis. This isn’t a prep role — we need someone confident, experienced in batch cooking, and familiar with dietary needs in a healthcare setting. If you’ve cooked in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and cook meals in large batches according to planned menus Follow modified texture diets (puree, mechanical soft, etc.) Ensure meals meet resident-specific dietary and nutritional needs Operate and clean commercial kitchen equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
What You Bring:
Proven experience as a cook in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting Familiarity with mechanical diets, pureed food, and dietary guidelines Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently High school diploma or equivalent (Culinary training a plus) Make an impact through your cooking.
