Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Duties Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per the menu specifications. Ensure all food handling and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Collaborate with chefs to plan menus and prepare ingredients for catering events. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation. Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Support the kitchen team with various tasks, including cleaning utensils and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times. Skills Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Proficient knife skills for efficient ingredient preparation. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience in catering or menu planning is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques.
