Line Cook/Prep Cook G Cafe Bakery 141 Orange Street, New Haven, CT 06511 This is a great opportunity for you to join one of our G Café Bakery that serves freshly baked goods, made by our own bakery daily, with all natural ingredients!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and prepping. Prepping and assembling dishes based on specified recipes and standards. Experience in food presentation with meticulous attention to details. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces and kitchen at the end of the shift. Performs any inventory checks and completes food storage logs.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Back of house/kitchen/line/food-prep experience Able to meet all scheduling commitments Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs Strong attention to detail ServSafe Certification is a plus. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with all team members
