Line Cooks PT and FT Anchor Social Milford, CT 06460 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in meal preparation and food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of catering orders as needed. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food handling, culinary techniques, and food safety standards. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Previous experience in catering or as a dietary aide is a plus.
