Position Summary:

As a Back-of-House Team Member, you are expected to have full ownership of your work station. We expect candidates to demonstrate team work with a positive can do attitude. Line cooks can expect daily direction from KM and/or GM and are expected to uphold all station responsibilities, which include all mis en place; food prep/ stock levels appropriate for daily service, proper smallware/plate set. Line cook canidates are expected to keep their work stations and all areas of the kitchen clean following ServeSafe sanitation standards. Practicing FIFO throughout all areas in the kitchen including dry storage/walk-in is a must. You will report directly to the Kitchen Manager and work with other team members in a clean, safe, and respectful manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Keep all products in coolers, storage, and front workstation stocked & properly rotated Receive deliveries and check for accuracy Prep all menu items in strict accordance with our recipes and standards, in a timely manner Practice portion control and minimize waste

  • Practice food safety and sanitation standards required of foodservice establishments
  • Collect, clean, and store used wares from service and dining area.
  • Empty trash and maintain trash stations regularly Set up, breakdown and cleaning of all equipment and kitchen areas Sweep, mop, and clean all areas of restaurant Perform various routine kitchen tasks
