Prep Cook Rebellion Beachside Bar & Bistro 26 North Orlando Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly by preparing ingredients, assisting in menu planning, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties Prepare and chop ingredients as per the menu specifications to ensure timely service. Assist in the preparation of sauces, dressings, and other components of dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled safely and hygienically. Support the head chef and other kitchen staff in daily operations. Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, ovens, and other cooking tools safely and effectively. Collaborate with team members to help create new menu items and improve existing recipes. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. A team player with good communication skills who can work well under pressure.
