Role:
We are currently seeking a competent, efficient, and passionate line cook to join our kitchen. This is a key role in a small but ambitious environment, where every plate reflects our commitment to quality, craft, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items in accordance with our menu and recipes
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Assist with menu planning and recipe development
Help to maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
Assist with washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Take direction and follow established procedures
Adapt to changing circumstances and take on new responsibilities as required
Experience Required:
Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Experience in a small restaurant setting is an asset
