The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in the food industry, particularly in fine dining and catering. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet our guests’ expectations while adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards for presentation and taste. Assist in menu planning, including dietary department needs and special dietary requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Support catering events as needed, ensuring that all meals are prepared according to specifications. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, meal preparation, and fine dining standards. Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety practices within the culinary field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals. Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.
