The ideal candidate will have strong cooking skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment . This role involves both back-of-house food preparation and some front-of-house responsibilities , including customer interactions and handling payments .

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts .
Grill, fry, bake, and sauté foods including French fries, eggs, pancakes, and hamburgers .
Ensure that all meals are cooked to order and served hot and fresh .
Plan and time food preparation so that dishes served together are ready simultaneously .
Kitchen Maintenance & Organization
Clean food prep equipment, kitchen surfaces, workstations, and dining areas .
Maintain proper food storage and rotate inventory , stamping time and dates on stored food.
Restock kitchen supplies and ensure ingredient freshness .
Inventory & Menu Support
Order supplies, manage inventory , and stock shelves.
Keep records and accounts of inventory usage.
Assist in menu planning and pricing if needed .
Customer Service & Cash Handling
Take orders from customers and prepare short-prep meals based on their requests.
Accept payments, make change, and process charge slips as needed.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols .
