Experienced Line Cook Now Hiring:

Sauté Cook /Experienced Line Cook – Join Our Growing Restaurant in Bradenton, FL! ?? Are you passionate about Italian cuisine? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen where creativity and quality come first? We’re a new and rapidly growing Italian restaurant in Bradenton, FL, and we’re looking for a skilled Line or Sauté Cook to join our culinary team. In this position, you will: Cook and grill various menu items, such as proteins, vegetables, and pasta, according to Rocco’s standards and recipe guidelines; Maintain a clean and organized cooking station, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients, utensils, and equipment; Monitor the quality of food being prepared, ensuring that it meets Rocco’s standards in terms of taste, appearance, and portioning; Work efficiently to ensure that all food items are prepared and cooked in a timely manner to meet the demands of the restaurant’s service.

Responsibilities include:
  • Work quickly and independently.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food
  • Prepare cold foods.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers.
  • Set-up and break down work station.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
Physical Factors:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods without sitting
  • May be required to work weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, and stand for long periods hours without sitting.
  • Be able to handle, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds of weight from storage areas to service areas with or without a hand dolly.
