Job Summary:
The Cook II position is an intermediate-level role responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with moderate supervision. The individual in this role demonstrates a higher level of culinary skill and knowledge, contributing to the kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to recipes and standards. Assist the team with daily tasks. Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation. Participate in kitchen cleaning and dishwashing duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training preferred. 2+ years of professional cooking experience. Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and culinary terminology. Ability to follow and adapt recipes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. INDH
