The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and culinary arts, with the ability to create delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly handled, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties Prepare pizza dough and toppings according to established recipes and standards. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and notifying management of low stock levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices at all times. Skills Proficient in food handling techniques and food service operations. Strong culinary skills with a focus on pizza preparation. Familiarity with Aloha POS system for order processing is a plus. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Experience in the food industry, particularly in a café or restaurant setting.
