Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in cooking techniques, attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for Italian cuisine. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of food quality and presentation that define the Erba Miami experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Assist with prep work and daily mise en place Collaborate effectively with the culinary team to ensure smooth service Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude in a fast-paced environment Participate in daily kitchen setup and breakdown, including cleaning duties
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment Ability to follow recipes and plating guidelines with precision Excellent time management and organizational skills Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Passion for Italian cuisine and commitment to culinary excellence Culinary school training is a plus but not required
