Line cook Barley Hospitality 5829 SW 73rd Street, South Miami, FL 33143 Barley Hospitality is looking to hire experienced line cook to handle the raw bar and a line cook for Bellas Tapas located in South Miami. Bella is a Heritage Inspired Spanish/Midwest restaurant by Chef Jorgie Ramos. Raw Bar, Crudos, Oysters/Grill, Sauté Qualifications Knowledge of fish breakdown for raw preparation, chucking oyster Line cook experience in saute and grill
Responsibilities:
Raw Bar You will be responsible for preparing and serving all items in our Raw Bar Menu with established recipes and food safety guidelines Prepare, season, and plate all items on the raw bar menu, oysters, ceviche, and crudos. Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to carry very heavy objects Room for growth and advancement
