The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation and cooking. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and your attention to detail will contribute to our customers’ satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards. Cook pizzas in a high-temperature oven, ensuring optimal taste and presentation. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery. Participate in training new staff on pizza preparation techniques and kitchen protocols. Skills Strong basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately. Experience in the restaurant or food industry, particularly with pizza cooking techniques. Familiarity with Aloha POS system for order processing is a plus. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Previous experience in grocery store environments or bussing roles is advantageous but not required.
