Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our team. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas to order. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor food quality and ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection
- Prepare ingredients such as dough, sauces, and toppings
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering customer questions
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to ensure pizzas are prepared in a timely manner
- Experience working in a restaurant or fast-paced food service environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating cooking times
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
