The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on creating delicious pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role requires being able to run the pizza oven , which is coal fired. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with food safety standards. Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and managing dough. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper sanitation of cooking equipment and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking supplies. Adhere to fine dining standards while presenting dishes attractively for customers. Skills Proficient in kitchen operations with a strong understanding of food handling practices. Experience in meal preparation and food service within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and knife skills is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to help others in the kitchen as needed.
