• 50 residents. Shift is ONLY day time from 6:00am-2:30pm.
• Responsible for preparing and serving meals according to dietary rules and regulations.
• Responsible to supervise all dietary aspects of: cleanliness, safe food preparation, safe food handling, cleaning and maintaining equipment, serving resident meals, all diets, dietary rules and regulations.
• Responsible to prepare food for current and future meals according to a set menu with special diet.
• Responsible for cleaning up kitchen and making sure all dishes are washed after each meal.
• Responsible for keeping inventory of food supplies and helping with monthly and weekly food orders. Qualifications/Requirements
• At least 1 years’ experience working in a cooking capacity (preferably in a residential assisted living setting).
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings/afternoons, weekends and holidays periodically.
• Must enjoy working with the senior population.
• Preferred to have a cook with a Serve Safe Managers Qualification.
• MUST pass AHCA Level 2 Background Check.
