Breakfast COOK Jimmy Guana’s Restaurant 401 2nd Street, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in meal preparation and food handling. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. If you have a love for cooking and a commitment to food safety, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Adhere to proper food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices. Experience Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Familiarity with fine dining concepts is a plus, along with experience in restaurant settings. Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
