COOK POSITION
Dietary-Resident Activities Aide Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a Level II background Screening
- Must be able to lift 20lbs
- Must be able to read and follow the facility menus
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean kitchen
- Ensure the refrigerator and freezers are clean and arranged neatly
- Must serve and prepare meals for Amelia ALF’s Residents
- Must clean the dining area and living room after each meal served
- Check the halls, dining room and living room for spills after each meal also wipe any visible spills of juice and water off the walls
- Must write the menu on the board at the beginning of each day so that the residents know what is being served
- Follow the dietary menu
- Date all opened foods
- Remove all expired food from the pantry, refrigerator, and freezers
- Maintain inventory of all food and supplies in the dietary dept and report shortages to your Supv
- Assist with the daily Resident Activities Programs
- All other duties as assigned Principals only.
