The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, particularly in a restaurant or catering environment, and possess a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas that meet our restaurant’s standards for taste and presentation while ensuring a clean and efficient workspace. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Utilize fine dining techniques to create visually appealing dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or seasonal ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, knives, and other cooking tools. Help train new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and food safety practices. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Requirements Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques.
