The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations. Contribute to menu development by providing feedback on recipes and techniques. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong culinary skills with proficiency in knife handling and various cooking techniques. Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices is a plus.
