The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to menu planning. The Line Cook/Prep Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and organized kitchen. Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef. Assist in catering events and special functions as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in menu planning by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing recipes. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
