The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. This role involves hand stretching pizzas, preparing and cooking a variety of specialty pizzas at a fast pace while ensuring that all food handling and safety standards are met. An eye for detail will be essential for success in this position. Our ideal candidate is punctual and reliable while prioritizing attendance. You will receive a steady and reliable hours to ensure consistent pay. Duties Arrive on time for every scheduled shift. ( Great attendance is a must! ) Be able to excel in a hot, busy kitchen Be able to multitask cooking multiple menu items across multiple tickets at the same time. Self motivate during slower times to prep and clean. Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining the highest quality. Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations regarding food preparation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including FIFO ingredients Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, knives, fryers, flat top grill, and other cooking tools safely and efficiently. Collaborate and communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service or other custom food preperation requests. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or pizza shop. Be able to hand stretch a 18″ pizza evenly and quickly. Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Certificate of food handling safety coarse. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Strong attention to detail with a focus on presentation and quality of meals. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
