Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to our restaurants recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and presented beautifully

Quality Assurance:
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality and consistency. Monitor and adjust flavors and presentation as necessary

Kitchen Operations:
- Assist in the smooth operation of the kitchen by performing tasks such as chopping, slicing, grilling, and frying. Ensure that all cooking equipment is used safely and efficiently

Inventory Management:
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries

Sanitation and Safety:
- Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation practices in the kitchen. Ensure all food handling and preparation procedures comply with health and safety regulations

Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction

Menu Development:
- Contribute to menu development and specials creation, bringing creativity and input to enhance our offerings

Problem Solving:
- Address any issues that arise in the kitchen promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to service.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and presentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus, but not required.
