Job Description
Cashier and Cook 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 5310 Main Street, Zachary, LA 70791 A fast food crew member’s responsibilities can include: Customer service: Greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions Food preparation: Preparing food, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups, and ensuring food is safe to eat
Cleaning:
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and dining areas
Inventory:
Monitoring and ordering supplies and food, and restocking as needed Cash handling: Accepting payment from customers, making change, and balancing cash registers
Teamwork:
Working with other crew members to meet sales goals and train new crew members Safety and security: Following company safety and security procedures Other responsibilities may include: Operating fryers and microwaves, Working on a food preparation production line, Stocking condiment and beverage stations, and Taking customer orders by phone or mobile app. While there are no formal educational requirements for the role, most employers provide on-the-job training. Some essential skills for the role include: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, Strong customer service skills, Ability to follow established procedures, Proactive attention to detail, and Physical dexterity.
