Saute Associate 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Baton Rouge, LA 70810 A “Sauté Associate” at La Madeleine is a kitchen position primarily responsible for cooking various dishes on the sauté station, ensuring all food is prepared according to established recipes and quality standards, while maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety guidelines, and efficiently communicating with other line cooks and management to maintain smooth service flow.

Key Responsibilities:
Cooking:

Accurately prepare dishes on the sauté station following La Madeleine recipes, including proper cooking times and techniques for items like grilled meats, vegetables, and pasta dishes. Maintain consistency in quality and presentation of all cooked items. Monitor and adjust cooking temperatures as needed to ensure proper doneness.

Prep Work:

Prepare ingredients according to prep lists, including chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and measuring sauces. Stock the sauté station with necessary ingredients and utensils.

Food Safety:
