Cook The Position:

Ability to work in a high volume environment. We are looking for experienced and trainable individuals with a positive attitude and outgoing personality who are ready to join the team at a new dog friendly cafe concept.

This playful, community-driven cafe offers high-quality coffee, tea, matcha, smoothies, and juices, alongside a fresh, nourishing menu of toasts, salads, and sandwiches. But the best part?   $11.00 per hour + tips Responsibilities

• Greet and assist our furry customers and their owners with their orders, providing exceptional customer service.
• Operate the POS system efficiently, handling cash and card transactions accurately.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and food items while adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and timely food preparation.
• Manage inventory and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Qualifications
• Loves dogs
• Proven experience as a Barista or cashier or in a similar hybrid customer service role
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and food safety standards
• Proficient in operating POS systems. We use Square POS.
• Excellent time management and sales skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with food preparation and handling in a café or retail environment
• Basic math skills for cash register operations and sales calculations
• Previous food preparation experience preferred but not necessary Principals only.
