Culinary Specialist The Dakota Restaurant 310 East Boston Street, Covington, LA 70433 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong understanding of meal preparation and food handling. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. This position requires a commitment to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment. Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional culinary service.
