Catering Cook Position Available In Barnstable, Massachusetts

Ingredients, Inc. dba Angel Foods located in Provincetown, MA seeks 5full time temporary Catering Cooks. Prepare, season, and cookdishes/items for service at job sites/events.

Items to include:

soups,meats, vegetables, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts for service at jobsites/events. Facilitate packing and transport of food items to and fromjob sites/events. May order. supplies, keep records and accounts, priceitems on event menu, or plan event menu under supervision of owner orautonomously. May consult directly with client in event menu planning.and pricing. Rotating work days, shifts and days off. 35 hours per week.

Work to occur between 6:00am to 11:00pm. Includes weekends, nights, andholidays. Daily transportation to and from primary worksite (467Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA) is not provided. Transportation toevent/job sites located within a 30 mile radius of primary worksite inthe Outer Cape towns of Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, Eastham, andOrleans, Massachusetts will be provided in company vehicles. On-the-jobtraining is provided.

Wage:

$20.23 to $20.23 per hour, paid weekly.

Overtime may be available at $30.35 to $30.35 per hour. Employee maybe eligible for additional compensation in the form of a discretionaryend of employment term bonus, depending on employer profitability,employee performance, and whether employee completed the employmentperiod.

Schedule:

35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and caninclude evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed onany day of the week from Monday through Sunday between the hours of6:00AM and 11:00PM.

Example shift:

9:00AM to 5:00PM. Shift duration mayvary. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Housing isnot offered. All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made.

The employer guarantees to oer work for hours equal to at least threefourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employmentperiod. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools,supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. H-2B workers willbe reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing,border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated bygovernment (excluding passport fees). If the worker completes 50% of thework contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburseworkers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitmentto the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where theworker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workersreasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home orto the place the worker originally departed to work, except where theworker will not return due to subsequent employment with anotheremployer. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workersfor all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs duringthe last workweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursementwill be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier forthe distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day withreceipts.
