Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for daily operations, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality. Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to clients. Skills Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Familiarity with dietary department requirements is a plus. Proficient in kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and equipment usage. Excellent knife skills for efficient food preparation. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.
