Breakfast Cook/Line Cook The Farmer’s Daughter 122 Main Street, North Easton, MA 02356 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in the food industry. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet our restaurant’s standards and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Assist with meal preparation for catering events as needed. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative input on new dishes. Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and culinary terminology is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are necessary.
