Line Cook Leo’s Metro Bowl 63 Foster Street, Peabody, MA 01960 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be open to learning or have experience in the food industry with a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook quality dishes according to the restaurant’s menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Inform management on inventory levels of food supplies if running low. Participate in hands on training to learn new skills. Requirements Experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry or ability to learn in a timely manner Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations or willingness to learn. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Experience with catering services is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
