The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious pizzas. This role requires expertise in various cooking techniques, an understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food handling. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines. Manage the pizza assembly line, including dough preparation, topping selection, and baking. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including cooking equipment and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or seasonal ingredients. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while preparing food. Experience Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on pizza making techniques. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to use kitchen equipment safely, including knives and ovens. Experience in menu planning and meal preparation is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cooking methods.
