South End Market Cook – Part Time (MGM Springfield) The SHOW comes aliveat MGM Resorts International! THE JOB:
Join our vibrant South End Market at MGMSpringfield as a Cook, where you’ll refine your culinary skills whilefostering memorable connections with guests. Your warm attitude andgenuine attentiveness will be key in understanding their unique storiesand needs, ensuring that every interaction contributes to creatingunforgettable WOW moments that will stay with them long after theirvisit.
THE STARTING RATE
$21.30 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Maintainsolid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinarytechniques Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for serviceProperly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitationMaintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with platepresentation Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of serviceMaintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces,stocks and soups
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Knowledgeable of weights, measuresand various cooking techniques Knowledge of knives and knife skills,standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited totoasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovacmachine and smallwares Knowledge of health, safety and sanitationregulations Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysMust be 18 years of age
