The Cook I prepares food in an industrial kitchen in accordance withdetailed menus and resident needs. Work includes preparing and cookingfood, operating standard cooking equipment and maintaining an orderlyand clean kitchen.

The schedule is Monday & Tuesday 5 AM – 1 PM and Sunday, Wednesday &Thursday 11 AM – 7 PM.

Required Skills & Experience:

Must have knowledge of large scale cooking practices.Graduate of culinary arts program or experience preferred.Supervisory experience preferred.Must possess valid Maine Class C driver’s license or the ability toobtain within first six months of employment.Must pass a pre-employment physical exam.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a union position, CEBA (Grade 6M) –

Salary Range:

$20.51 -$22.82/hr. plus any applicable shift differentials.
