Cook Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Cook Assistant to join our team in Westbrook, Maine. This role involves working with both raw and cooked ingredients, assisting with measuring, filling, and handling to prepare large batches for packaging by filler operators. Responsibilities Work with raw and cooked ingredients. Assist in measuring, filling, and handling to prepare large batches. Support filler operators in packaging processes. Essential Skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working in a hot environment. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Fluent in English. Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced, sticky, and messy. You will be part of a team of approximately 100 employees, working the 1st shift from 6am until finish, typically between 3 and 6pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, Maine. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $19.00/hr.
