Description:
SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced Cook for a private boarding school in Kents Hill, ME. Here you will make restaurant quality meals without late nights in a recently renovated kitchen! We are a 7 day a week operation with work during the summer as well. We can discuss your availability during the interview.
A Cook typically involves preparing and cooking food items to ensure quality and customer satisfaction, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Duties may include preparing ingredients, following recipes, operating kitchen equipment, managing inventory, and assisting with general kitchen tasks

What you’ll do:
Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests’ expectations.
Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
What you’ll need:
Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
