un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Breakfast Cook (Old Orchard Beach) Alouette Beach Resort 91 East Grand Ave  compensation: Starts at $19 + hr employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Breakfast Cook Job Description We are seeking a professional Breakfast Cook to join our team at the Alouette Beach Cafe. This position is located at the Alouette Beach Resort in Old Orchard Beach. This is a Part Time position with advancement opportunities for the right candidate. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding our high standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and excellent service.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Assist with menu planning and development
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety regulations
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
Requirements:
  • 6 months or more of experience in a related position
  • Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location
  • Knowledge of kitchen and restaurant safety and emergency procedures
  • Ability to work well with others (i.e. interacts appropriately with guests and staff)
  • Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks safely and efficiently, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to maintain speed in meal production while ensuring high quality food
  • ServSafe Certification a plus but we are willing to pay for it
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a cook or similar role
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
