Cook Cafe Associate 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars North Berwick, ME 03906 • Hybrid work Cook Cafe Associate – Casco Bay Food and Beverage has an opening at our corporate café in North Berwick. This CookCafe Associate is a hybrid position involving prep cooking and counter service. The shifts are Monday-Thursday, from 10:00am – 8:30pm, with ample time for a break during the afternoon. You will work with our wonderful day staff for the first hour of your shift, as you plan your prep schedule for the day. Then you and a coworker will prepare various food items during a period where the cafe is not open to customers. Following, there is a 2-hour window of service, where you will serve hungry and appreciative customers. Clean-up is important but quick, and there are no further tasks once this and the evening service is concluded. This individual is responsible for – Preparing grab and go meals ahead of the evening service Flattop grill experience is required Preparing a nightly special for the evening service Oven and boiler experience is required Serving customers preordered items No cash register operation necessary Position will fulfill orders entered remotely by customers Exceptional customer service and ability to troubleshoot are a must Ensuring production standards meet proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Cleaning work areas, equipment and utensils. Keeping café in a clean and sanitized state at all times. Working together with the rest of the cafe team to ensure the best product and service for our customers.
