The Line Cook will be neat and clean and in uniform, as described in ourdress code. The Line Cookwill conduct him/herself in a professional manner at all times.

The Line Cook will have a variety of duties and responsibilities. TheLine Cook will maintain therestaurant concept, menu, and operational standards.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Examples of these responsibilitiesinclude, but are notlimited to, the following:? Be on time for your shift and be prepared and ready to work? Be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.? Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu forservice? Prepare a variety of foods; meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, andcold food items? Arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes for allocated station? Cover, date and correctly store all bits and pieces and food prepitems? Notify Chef , Sous Chef or Lead Cook in advance of likely shortages? Serve menu items compliant with established standards? Use food preparation tools in accordance with manufacturesinstructions? Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist forkitchen stations? Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times? Keep the work area fresh all through the shift? Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are storedappropriately? Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices? Return dirty food preparation utensils to the appropriate areas? Assist with all duties as assigned by Chef? Help with dish station as needed? Help with Prep Staff as

NeededCommunication:

The Line Cook must communicate in a professional mannerwith coworkers andmanagement. The Line Cook must also be able to understand instructionsand communicate when heor she needs more direction.

Problem Solving:
